Welcome to my site, so glad that you are here! My name is Jillian, and I am so passionate about photography. 2024 is my fourth year photographing professionally, and I could not be more thrilled about it. Funny to say I became an expert editor before photographing... I had an obsession with the Lightroom preset era of 2016 (s/o Josie Bullard).

How I started JSP:
During my junior year of high school, I was looking for a senior photographer in The Woodlands and I simply could not decide. So much so that I almost booked a photographer in South Carolina- I was that desperate. I wanted something unique where there were no poses, no crazy dance competition makeup, and bright but soft colors. I simply decided, why couldn't I do it myself?
During the 2020 lockdown, I began experimenting with my DSLR and thought I would take matters into my own hands. I am what I like to call self-taught- lots and lots of trial and error (+ YouTube). I began practicing with friends which later turned into paid clients. We've come a long way.

About Me:​
I was born in the Woodlands, and I grew up as an expat in far-east Russia. Through that experience, I was so fortunate to be able to visit many countries around the world. I still love to travel, like so much. I spent all of June in Italy and France. And with all the travel, I began to document every little thing through a Canon Powershot. Later that turned into DSLRs...
Currently, I am a junior finance major at Texas A&M University who somehow manages this business on top of all of the crazy coursework of finance and accounting (I hate accounting). I am pursuing Commodity Trading, and I am on track to receive a Master's in Financial Management.

A little more fun... other than school, I am a member of Tri Delta's Gamma Alpha Chapter where I currently serve as the Merchandise Chair! Soooo I get to use my creative side & design some super cute DDD apparel. Last year, I was the Director of Social Events. I got to plan all of the date parties, which was A DREAM!!!! I love being able to use my creative side to deliver fun and representative elements to my chapter!

Currently, I have an obsession with being an influencer on TikTok. I'll keep y'all updated. @jillsyptak if you wanna check it out lol.

I stay busy, but I always make time to come to the Woodlands or College Station to do what I love- shoot photos! So, let's have some fun and create a session that captures who you are!
